This is — hands down — a truly unsettling image.
On Wednesday, rapper Nicki Minaj traveled to Washington, D.C., to double down on her allegiance to President Donald Trump by giving a speech at a summit celebrating “Trump Accounts.”
The new pilot program gives children investment accounts with a one-time deposit of $1,000, which some have criticized as a marketing ploy that makes Trump’s controversial One Big Beautiful Bill Act look slightly less awful.
While the “Super Bass” musician gave a speech about how she is “the president’s No. 1 fan,” and doesn’t care what her haters think about it, Getty Images’ Win McNamee snapped several photos of Trump and Minaj holding hands.

Bloomberg captured another one of them intertwining their fingers as “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’ Leary spoke on stage:
But McNamee truly outdid himself when he decided to take a close-up shot of their interlocked digits — and it’s… something else.
Considering the bizarre juxtaposition of the “Anaconda” rapper’s acrylic nails and Trump’s mysteriously bruised hand, the image quickly made its way onto X and Bluesky, where social media users couldn’t help but crack jokes about the nightmare-inducing image. Read them below!
