Seth Meyers Clowns Sean Hannity For Airing This Unexpected Protest Moment

Late Night” host Seth Meyers teased Fox NewsSean Hannity on Monday for tossing to an interview with a Minneapolis protester that didn’t appear to go as expected last week.

As protests continued in the city in response to the Trump administration’s latest anti-immigrant operation and an ICE agent killing local resident Renee Good, Hannity asked reporter Garrett Tenney to speak to any demonstrators to see “what they are marching about.”

Tenney stopped one protestor, who swiftly slammed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement over its “disgusting” actions in the city.

“I think it’s absolutely abhorrent that they’re kidnapping people. I‘m disgusted that they murdered an innocent human being. And yeah, the entire thing just absolutely abhors me — this has to stop immediately,” the man told Tenney.

“I’m sorry, but how dare you go on Fox News and state such a normal, reasonable opinion!” Meyers quipped. “If you keep this up, the president’s going to be so sad he’ll walk over to the window and never come back!”

Meyers, ripping the president’s language from past comments, also teased that this Minneapolis protester was a “paid, left-wing agitator” who was part of a “shadowy, far-left conspiracy” and must’ve been carrying a dangerous weapon.

But in the Fox News interview, the protester unveiled a bell he had received from someone at the demonstration who was “handing out free stuff.”

“Oh my God, he’s got a bell! Quick, cover your ears. If he rings it three times, you have no choice but to sit down for dinner,” Meyers cracked.
