The Merrell Jungle Moc Is 25% Off Right Now

HuffPost readers have a long-standing love affair with Merrell sneakers, and for good reason. The brand is known for making comfortable, affordable outdoor shoes that many swear by for their pain-relieving foot support. And as a fan myself, I can attest to that. If you’ve been thinking of trying Merrell or just need a reliable new pair of everyday shoes, good news: Today, Merrell’s iconic slip-on Jungle Moc sneaker is currently 25% off in men’s and women’s sizes, and in select colors. The easygoing style is beloved for an effortless fit, versatile style, and ultra-comfortable footbed. The combination that earns high praise from reviewers who say they’re “the shoes I want to wear, all the time.”

The laceless Jungle Moc is one comfy, easy-wearing slip-on.

If you prefer not to always lace up for physical or other convenience reasons, the Jungle Moc may be your new workhorse. The sneakers feature stretchy panels around the shoe’s collar, so feet slide right into them without losing balance. The pull tab on the heel also makes it much easier to pull on, though I can also vouch that these are super easy to slide into while standing.

Several reviewers say they’re lifesavers for wearing after surgery or sliding on while dealing with hip and back pains.

“I bought a pair of jungle Mocs in 2020 to wear on walks as I recovered from hip replacement surgery,” shopper, City Walker, wrote.

“I walked the streets of New York in them and they supported me safely and comfortably during the recovery period and for years afterward. Twenty-plus years down the line, I’m preparing for revision surgery on the old hip replacement and―after researching various brands of walking shoes currently available―I’ve come back around to the Mocs as the safest and most reliable shoe for strengthening walks during this recovery. ”

“Back issues, including surgery, have made it impossible to tie my tennies and I needed something I could get my feet into easily and quickly enough to take antsy dog out for his daily walks,” explains another reviewer. “The staff helped me find the right size and fit for my big feet, and all is well in the city again. Me and the dog are making the rounds again, and visiting his dog friends!”

They’re also extremely comfortable, supportive enough for daily walks and surprisingly versatile.

The Jungle Moc is a cult-favorite sneaker not just for its laceless design, but also its supreme comfort and style. A quick glance at some reviews at Merrell’s website shows just how diehard fans of the shoe are. Many say they’ve worn the Jungle Moc for years, calling them the only shoe they swear by.

“These are the only shoes I have worn for the last 2 or 3 decades,” says a reviewer named Lilli B. “They are comfortable with a cushioned heel that is so comfortable. I have high arches & there is a built-in arch support.”

“I’ve been wearing Jungle Mocs as my everyday shoes for years now” says another reviewer named Malcolm. “I’m on my fifth or sixth pair. Recently, I walked 20 kilometers a day in Osaka in my Mocs. They’re that comfortable.”

That same review also compliments the Jungle Moc on its looks: “These gunsmoke colour Mocs are just as comfortable as usual, and the colour suits all sorts of occasions. Their first outing was to a wedding, where they complemented my sports jacket, and made it possible to forget that I’d been standing around talking for hours.”

You can grab a pair in men’s sizes 7-15 and women’s sizes 5-11, with four on-sale colors in both offerings.

I slipped these on and immediately felt supported and comfortable. I’ve worn them around town (and even got a compliment from a handsome white-haired guy in the CVS) and at the gym. I could not be happier with them. I will note that I saw a review that suggested it might be shorter than expected in my size 8, so I ordered 81/2. And it’s perfect.” — Lee

I know from experience that they will stretch, and that the sole will wear out before anything else. Also, they don’t make good hike shoes because they lack the stability required for that activity (they substitute that with cushioning, instead). They are super easy to slip on and off, which is often a useful attribute. Highly recommended.” — Malcolm

I LOVE MY MOCS! This shoe is dressy enough to wear out to dinner, to worship, and to wear out on the town. They’re also so comfortable that I NEVER notice I’m wearing them. The arch support is substantial, the sole is flexible and “cushiony” to be easy to walk in, to dance in, or even run to the car if it’s raining outside. I ordered mine in black, and will eventually be ordering others in other colors to go with more of my wardrobe.” — GBK
