This Brightening And Firming Serum Trio Is Only $17

Whether you’re building a skincare collection from scratch or are always looking for new products to try, a bundle can be the perfect next buy. If brightening and firming are your skincare goals, this serum trio from Tree of Life comes highly recommended — especially by reviewers in their 60s and 70s.

Comprised of vitamin C, retinol, and hyaluronic acid serums, users joke the set is “sent by the SKIN GODS,” garnering them compliments after just days of use. “My 70+ face has never looked so dewey and smooth,” user Gretchen, RN wrote. Usually $24.99, the set is currently 32% off, making it just $16.99. According to our price trackers, this is the lowest price ever, so you should probably act fast!

Small but mighty, this serum trio may be the only thing you need in your vanity. (Well, along with your favorite facial sunscreen, of course.)

With this trio, you’ll get: a vitamin C serum made for brightening and protecting the skin, a hyaluronic acid serum designed for hydrating, plumping and boosting radiance and a retinol serum intended for smoothing, reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles and fading dark spots. (We’ve done some amazing, in-depth reporting about all of these powerhouse ingredients, which is definitely worth the read.)

In the AM, the brand recommends using the vitamin C serum followed by the hyaluronic acid serum. For the evening, apply the retinol serum followed by the hyaluronic acid serum. Each serum only requires between 3-5 drops on clean, dry skin, with enough time for it to completely absorb before adding the next.

In the words of one happy reviewer, “I would recommend any one of the three-pack alone, but together they do everything that is needed by my skin.”

This is one budget-friendly deal.

Reviewers say the serum compares to options four times the price, improving skin issues they’ve had since pre-puberty, helping with menopausal and hormonal acne and tightening and brightening skin to look and feel younger.

“My skin has never looked this beautiful since before I began my menopausal years,” one wrote. “My pores are shrinking, and my wrinkles are gently smoothing out.”

The vegan formulas also include nourishing and toning ingredients like aloe vera, jojoba oil and witch hazel. Fans say there’s little to no fragrance, with some calling it a “natural scent” that’s “soothing, not overpowering.”

Because retinol can increase sun sensitivity, you’ll want to take some extra care.

While the trio can be mixed and matched (i.e. use it however you want), some skin care professionals recommend using retinol at night.

Whenever adding retinol into your routine, always ensure you’re wearing a daily facial sunscreen to keep your skin protected from potential damage. It’s also worth noting that using retinol can cause some initial irritation and skin reactions, which experts have told HuffPost is “absolutely normal.”

Of course, as with everything, check with your own medical and healthcare professionals if you have questions and know that everyone’s skin and skin needs are different.

“Amazing!!! Fast delivery. I just started using this product SUNDAY NIGHT its WEDNESDAY and I’ve gotten 2 compliments on how GREAT my skin looks. I’m so happy I found this product! After using an overly priced product with minimal results for months. This skin care system is sent by the SKIN GODS! THANK YOU!” — classy but sassy

I wanted to wait a couple months to see the results of this product before giving a review. I’m beyond thrilled with the results. It does for sure take some time to start seeing results, so stick with it and you’ll be happy. I’m a 41 year old single mom who’s definitely been a sun worshipper for most of my life, real sun and fake sun. I also have sensitive skin. The main thing I’ve noticed with this product is the texture and quality of my skin. I use the vitamin C serum then the hyaluronic acid every morning. At night I use the retinol then the hyaluronic acid. I went slow with the retinol, only using it twice a week then eventually worked up to every night. There are mornings I wake up and I look like I have the plump, supple skin of a 3 year old. Plump is really the operative word for this product. Smooth and plump. I haven’t noticed so much change in skin tone but that may change with longer use of the product. That being said, I don’t struggle with too much hyperpigmentation or discoloration of my skin. Bottom line: I’m very happy with this product and will continue to use it. I’ve also told a lot of friends and family members about it. The company is great as well. They really give you the impression that they truly care about your experience with their product. Overall fantastic experience.” — Shalee Fries

“I wasn’t offered any kind of compensation for this review. At 68 years old I can testify that I am an experienced skin care shopper. I purchased many expensive facial skin brands; I also tried ‘all natural’ unknown brands online and inexpensive drugstore sold facial creams and I have never found a skin care line in the likes of ‘Tree of Life.’ Tree of Life serums deliver what they promise. My skin has never looked this beautiful since before I began my menopausal years. My pores are shrinking, and my wrinkles are gently smoothing out. It is by far the very best skin care line on the market. My two daughters who are young moms have begun using Tree of Life products and several of my ‘mature’ friends have begun using this line as well. I suggest you begin with the Anti-Aging Serum Combo Pack and go from there. You will notice a significant improvement within just a couple of weeks. I have absolutely nothing to gain by writing this positive review. I just want to share with you my experience with the Tree of Life products and hopefully you can benefit from it if too. You will not regret it, I promise” — Mia

This snail mucin essence

This cult-loved Cosrx serum is powered by 96% snail mucin, an ingredient known to help hydrate, nourish, plump, and repair the skin. This version is oil-free for anyone who’s acne-prone, but the brand also makes its Snail Radiance Dual Essence ($16) which is a little more rich for those with drier skin types. Both are also great at repairing a damaged skin barrier.

Promising review: “10/10 Recommend. Super moisturizing especially when combined with the COSRX snail mucin cream. Has a thinner consistency so can run a little but stays for a long time on skin. Makes my skin really soft and smooth with an added glow as well. Bottle is a decent size and is pretty durable.” — Haylee

This rice water- and ceramide-rich serum

This serum is a personal favorite of mine for hydration during the winter because it features ingredients like redness-calming beta glucan, honey extract, seven types of rice extract, and arbutin to brighten dark spots. It has an elastic-type of consistency that feels really rich when you apply it, but it sinks into the skin beautifully and keeps my skin hydrated all day long.

Promising review: “Earlier this year, I had to start using benzoyl peroxide to get my acne under control, which made my oily skin red, irritated, and flaky. I needed something super hydrating and soothing to counteract it, landed on this serum, and I’m so glad I did. It’s thick but not sticky, super hydrating, and calmed my skin right down. I’m using it 2x daily along with a peptide serum, very happy with the results. This has earned a permanent spot in my skincare routine.” — Ulta customer

This hydrating peptide serum

This brand is a little pricier than most other Korean brands, but is a hybrid formula that consists of a mix of peptides and vitamin B7 to boost collagen production in while boosting hydration deep within the skin. While it is lightweight, don’t let that fool you, the hydration it offers is still next level and gives you that “glass skin” look.

Promising review: “This serum has such a soothing scent, I love it. I try to use this serum as the first step of skincare since it is NOT sticky and it feels like it preps my skin so well for any additional skincare afterwards including cream, suncream, makeup, etc. It is not heavy at all.

Even though it can be layered, I never really need to do that since it’s moisturizing enough after just one layer of it. Best serum for any season! It feels light yet powerful and goes a long way. I would buy it again.” — Amazon customer

This hydrating essence-toner

Ma:nyo’s essence and toner in one provides immediate and long-lasting hydration with its patented ingredient Panthetoin. This is a unique combination of panthenol and ectoin, two powerhouse hydrators that help the skin retain moisture. Additionally, ceramides help protect and repair the skin barrier while keeping dry winter winds from wreaking havoc.

Promising review: “This toner is a must during the winter. It [has] a gel like texture and helps lock in the moisture. Not much of a smell so it’s nice for sensitive skin and it also doesn’t leave my face greasy. The bottle is a good size too.” — Nora

This noni-rich ampoule that gives reviewers a “natural glow”

This Celimax formula contains a whopping 71.77% of nutrient-rich noni extract to refresh and hydrate the skin. Rosemary oil in the formula also helps calm irritation and redness and adenosine helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Promising review: “I’ve been using the Celimax Noni Ampoule for a couple of weeks, and my skin has improved dramatically. It feels softer, hydrated, and has a natural glow that I haven’t achieved with other products. I love that it’s lightweight, non-sticky, and absorbs quickly. I also notice that my dry areas feel much calmer. Definitely a must-have in my skincare routine.” — Camila

This propolis-rich glow serum

Beauty of Joseon remains a fan-favorite Korean beauty brand for its incredible formulas at such an affordable price. The brand’s Glow serum is another favorite of mine because it’s packed with 60% propolis (which is extremely hydrating) and 2% niacinamide to help lighten hyperpigmentation. It also contains a light exfoliant so it’s perfect for acne-prone skin types. I don’t use it every single day, but even so, I see great results. My skin has a nice glow to it after applying it, even during winter.

Promising review: “I have been using this for over a year. My skin is sensitive and I have rosacea, but also dry at times. This hydrates, smoothes, and improves the look of my skin one hundred times. It is lightweight and extremely effective. I love it so much.” — Amazon customer
