Red carpet season started off in style Sunday during the 83rd Golden Globes in Beverly Hills, California.
Hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser for the second year in a row, the first major awards show in the lead-up to the Oscars is famous for its anything-goes atmosphere and cocktail hour charm.
There was certainly no shortage of jaw-dropping looks. Jennifer Garner made a statement in a glittery black gown by Cong Tri. Ayo Edebiri and Selena Gomez brought a touch of throwback elegance in Chanel.
Emily Blunt, Amanda Seyfried and Jean Smart were among those who looked positively angelic in winter white looks, while Jennifer Lawrence and Jennifer Lopez dared to bare in sheer gowns.
The men certainly left an impression, too. All eyes were on actors Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, both of whom are riding high on the astonishing success of their series “Heated Rivalry.” Nominees Leonardo DiCaprio and Paul Mescal looked dapper in classic tuxes, while Colman Domingo’s playful sense of style was in full display in an all-black ensemble with a splash of white.
After everyone gets a chance to strike a pose for the paparazzi, the ceremony starts a 8 p.m. ET, airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
