“Daily Show” correspondent Jordan Klepper on Thursday lampooned President Donald Trump for being “laser-focused on the issues that matter most” after his pep rally for milk in the Oval Office this week.
“How are these people intolerant of everything except lactose?” Klepper wondered.
The bill-signing ceremony arrived the same day that Trump ramped up his threats to take over Greenland, writing on social media that “anything less” than getting control of the semiautonomous territory of Denmark would be “unacceptable.”
Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Denmark’s foreign minister, later said he and Trump still had a “fundamental disagreement” over the Arctic island after a White House meeting with Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Klepper weighed in on how the Trump administration is exhibiting a “strange mixture” of priorities amid the president’s takeover talk.
“Some hybrid of war planes and clown cars,” Klepper said.
“Because everyone from resistance libs to his own vice president has compared Trump to Hitler. But I’m pretty sure Hitler never took a break from invading Poland to be like, ‘Today, I just want to talk about milk! It does oot very good!’” exclaimed the comedian, who took on a Hitler impression.
