Trump is stepping up his rhetoric against Greenland, saying he intends to seize control of the island ― currently a semiautonomous region of Denmark ― and refusing to rule out the use of military force.
Kimmel was stunned by the threat in Trump’s “bitchy little message” to Støre.
“We are on the verge of going to war over the Nobel Prize for Peace,” he said. “The irony doesn’t get more irony-y than that. We may be invading Europe again, another D-Day, except this time the ‘D’ stands for ‘dumb.’”
