Jimmy Kimmel Responds To FCC Threat With Mock Trump ‘Interview’

Jimmy Kimmel told his audience he may need their help, as he faces a new threat from President Donald Trump’s “minions” at the Federal Communications Commission.

“For real, we are once again getting threatened by the FCC,” said Kimmel, who was threatened by the agency and briefly taken off the air in September over comments he made about conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s killer.

Kimmel noted that Trump, while in the middle of a crucial meeting in Switzerland with other world leaders, somehow found time to fire off a message on his Truth Social website about new FCC guidance aimed at talk shows.

The president shared a link to an LA Times report detailing how the agency will crack down on entertainment shows that have political guests by demanding equal time for other candidates for that same office.

But Kimmel said he won’t be bullied ― and brought on a political guest anyway.

“I invited President Trump to appear on our show tonight, FCC be damned,” he said. “Unfortunately, his head was unavailable to talk, but we were able to book another part of his body.”

With that, Kimmel scored an exclusive mock interview with Trump’s “badly bruised right hand,” along with a cameo from a presidential cankle.

Check it out in the Wednesday night monologue:
