He read a statement from an Amazon spokesperson claiming the only reason the company paid for the film was “because we think customers are going to love it.”
“And then she laughed and laughed until they had to carry her away,” Kimmel cracked.
He also mocked Fox News for its extremely friendly interviews with the first lady ― especially a question from one of the hosts of “The Five.”
“Can I ask a question I’ve been dying to ask?” Dana Perino asked. “I’ve always been curious: What is your favorite time of day?”
Kimmel could hardly believe it.
“I’ve always wondered that too! What is your favorite time of day? Is it 10? Is it 2:15?” Kimmel asked in mock excitement. “Only the softest of balls for our first lady.”
Then, he offered an answer of his own: “Her favorite time of day is any time Donald is taking a nap.”
